We’ve recently started using Condo Control, a platform we find very promising. That said, we’ve identified a few areas where improvements could significantly enhance the experience, for both administrators and residents:
Knowledge Base
When a document is attached to one article, it is automatically added to all articles. If the document is removed from a single article, it is removed from every article. This appears to be a bug rather than an intended behavior, and it greatly limits individual file management. We believe this should be corrected.Violation Module
While this module is generally effective, a few limitations are problematic:There is no way to display a visible icon or shortcut for residents in the mobile app, making the module hard to locate (currently only accessible via My Account > Violations).
If a resident replies to a violation email, the message goes directly to the configured email address. However, if they reply via the app or website, the response is saved directly within the violation thread in Condo Control. This results in two separate communication channels, which can be confusing.
Responding to Requests on Mobile
For less tech-savvy users, responding to a request on the mobile app is not very intuitive. The icon is located in the top right corner and can be hard to find. It would be helpful to have a more visible “Reply to Request” button at the bottom of the screen, similar to the one used to open a new request.Attachments on Mobile
Whether part of a request or a violation, attachments (such as images or documents) are not accessible when opened from an email on mobile, particularly on iOS. In most cases, users are unable to view or save the attachments, which hinders smooth communication.French Translation
Finally, the French translation across the platform is inconsistent in many areas. If there is an opportunity to contribute to improving the translation, or if a panel could be made available to allow administrators to customize labels and wording, we’d be happy to help enhance the French version.
